Come, give me your hand, that I may not fear.
If there are temptations,
carry me past them in your arms.
That I may receive the graces to turn all things to the Good

Turning all things to GOOD
“It is no wonder you are tempted; on the contrary, it would be something new if you were not, because the life of human beings is nothing but temptation, and no one is exempt from it, especially those who have given themselves to God; his own Son even passed through this trial. But if it is necessary for everyone, it is also a source of merit for those to whom God grants the grace of turning all things to good, as you do.”
Vincent dePaul captures the dilemma we face in discussing temptations, they are part of all our experiences, but if we tend to notice only the times we give into temptation we miss the point.
